I
am sitting at our beautiful town beach and I can not believe that in
only a few weeks school will begin.
Where did the summer go? I
hope you had a wonderful summer and that you were able to take time and
enjoy the company of your family.
As
we focus our energy on a new school year I look forward to being your
new PTSA President. I would
also like to encourage all who are interested in helping out (no matter
how big or small). Please
come out and join the PTSA, get involved and volunteer. Parents are the
essential part of the education process.
Volunteering at school will show your child that school is
important and you also help them achieve a positive attitude towards
education.
It
is also my pleasure to welcome our new Elementary School Principal
Natasha Shea to our community. I
know she will love
Greenwood
Lake
as we all do.
Please
come out to our first meeting on Thursday September 11th at
7:00 pm. I will look forward to seeing familiar faces and to meeting new
families.
