Public meeting regarding future of GWL in ES
gym tonight, There are some hard
decisions, but it isn’t the fault of anyone.
Please come to the meeting after the PTSA meeting to learn some
more. The vote is Dec 12th
from 11am – 9pm in ES Library. Both
districts will be voting on this day.
Robert Shust
Parent/Teacher conferences coming up, bring in
a couple of questions. We want to keep
a healthy dialog between the parents and teachers. Grades 1-4 are going to Baker HS to see Treasure Island and the
following week going to see Chorus.
Grade 4 parents who are in band will be practicing during the half days
right after school. No permission slips
will be sent home for this. We are
taking the whole school, grades 1-4, parents will be notified before the event
and it will be posted on the web site.

We are at 270 members
Committees:
Fundraising: Don’t
forget the pick up dates. We will be
running a spiritwear sale, look for it soon.
Holiday Shopping December 11th
– 13th in both schools during lunch time, more information will be
coming early December.
Box Tops: Keep
clipping and dropping off at Post Office or Library
Programming: November 27th
grades 1 – 4 Treasure Island and Sky Dome program is set for 12/3 at the Middle
School
Reflections: The
theme this year is “I Can Make a Difference By….”, starting now, look for additional
information
Book Swap: Drop
off of books is 11/14 & 11/15 at the Public Library, 11/16 is the set up
and 11/17 is the swap, there are many great books and many of them are like new
Better Nutrition: Met
and decided on some sample menus, we are waiting on meeting with
Superintendent, Business Administrator and Dietician.
Winter Concert: 12/10 for 1st and 2nd
grade, 12/13 for 3rd and 4th grade, 12/17 for K at 10am,
12/19 for 5th
– 8th grade

Next BOE meeting is on November 14th
at 6:30pm at MS.
Next PTSA meeting is on December 13th
at 9:30am at ES.
